Campus Advocate 40-Hour Online Certification Course - INSTITUTIONAL LICENSE
Oregon SATF’s online, 40-hour advocate training is the only campus and Oregon-specific online training available for advocates serving students on college and university campuses in Oregon.
This training aligns with the Oregon state standards for advocate privilege, and combines best practice with higher education mandates such as Title IX and Clery.
This order includes:
15 seats (15 participant licenses) in SATF’s online certification course;
12 months of access for participants to start their course;
Technical assistance related to the platform and content for users in the course;
Certificate of completion.
IMPORTANT-PLEASE READ
This course was designed to prepare confidential advocates working with college populations only. While it meets all state certification requirements, it is not intended for those seeking to work as an advocate in a community-based domestic and/or sexual violence programming. Additional training is strongly recommended to work in those settings.
This training is step one towards meeting requirements for advocate privilege. Advocates must also work for a qualified victim-services program. To learn more about this process, please review this handout describing the process of becoming a certified and privileged advocate in Oregon.
Every registration is reviewed by Oregon SATF training staff. This may take 3-5 business days. We appreciate your patience! If your registration is not approved, your registration fee will be refunded in full.
