A multi-disciplinary approach to prevent and respond to sexual violence.

Our work addresses the intersections of many different systems and disciplines that support survivors, prevent violence from occurring, and promote healing and accountability.

To facilitate a multi-disciplinary approach to sexual violence prevention and response, our staff work under four “programs”, or areas of practice, within Oregon SATF. Scroll down to learn more.

  • Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program

The Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Program provides technical assistance and support to SANE/SAEs, clinics and hospitals across the state of Oregon.

  • Sexual Assault Training Institute (SATI)

The Sexual Assault Training Institute (SATI) provides regular, high-quality and professional discipline-specific and multidisciplinary trainings regarding the prevention of and response to sexual violence.

  • Violence + Abuse Prevention Program

The Prevention Program works to eliminate the root causes of violence and abuse in order to stop violence before it occurs.

  • Campus Program

The Campus Program provides free, confidential technical assistance and high quality training opportunities for campus-based advocates, preventionists, and responders (including Title IX staff) working in Oregon.
