Sexual Assault: Ready and Resilient

$0.00

A 4-hour workshop for patrol officers and detectives to improve case outcomes, offender accountability, and overall readiness and resiliency in responding to sexual assault investigations. Detectives and patrol officers are encouraged to attend this training to gain information and techniques that will prepare them for the often intense, sometimes emotional interactions with victims, witnesses, and/or suspects of investigations. With victim engagement being a key contributor to case outcomes and officer preparedness closely following, this course will provide an evidence and strengths-based foundation for an acute or investigative police response. Whether you’re a patrol officer or seasoned detective, this course will offer tips, tactics, and exercises that either support your readiness or build on your resiliency – and the victims’ in sexual assault or gender-based violence cases.  Although the focus of this training is investigations and the patrol officer response, corrections officers are also welcomed.
