The Pediatric Subcommittee is a branch of the Oregon Medical Forensic Committee (MFC), focused on standardizing and enhancing the medical-forensic response to pediatric sexual assault cases across Oregon. Members contribute their expertise to develop protocols, provide training, and support multidisciplinary coordination to ensure the best possible outcomes for pediatric survivors.

Committees meet quarterly, and appointed members commit to two hours of work between meetings to coordinate committee projects and business.

The Steering Committee consists of the co-chairs from each of the committees. These co-chairs come together to review publications, projects, and membership from all the committees. This strategy allows Oregon SATF to have a multi-disciplinary review of all work coming out of our committees.

The SANE Certification Commission meets on the first Tuesday of odd-numbered months. Applications must be received in full THREE WEEKS PRIOR to a meeting date in order to be reviewed at that meeting.
