Sexual Assault Response Teams 101

2025 SART Conference Resources

Confidentiality and Sexual Assault Response Teams

This 1.5-hour webinar will help Coordinated Community Response Teams and Sexual Assault Response Teams (Teams) understand members’ confidentiality requirements (or lack thereof) and how they affect the Team. Attendees will learn about the roles and obligations of Team members, federal and local confidentiality laws impacting Teams, and tools to prevent breaches in confidentiality when working in Teams.

LGBTQIA+ Cultural Humility Readiness Assessment for SARTs

The following readiness assessment can be completed by individual agencies or as a team. It is meant to bring to light current efforts and highlight areas or gaps where improvement is needed and create a more narrow or focused discussion for the team about inclusion of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Community Resource Mapping for SARTs

Community resource mapping is an activity that can help sexual assault response teams (SARTs) identify and organize available resources for victims/survivors of sexual violence in the community. It can be achieved by compiling a list of resources and, optionally, creating a visual map.

Reviewing Case Files and Evaluating your SARTs Findings

In this webinar participants will learn about the specifics of the actual review, become acquainted with the tools used in this process, and explore potential pitfalls to avoid.
