Meg Foster (she/her)
Prevention Coordinator
Megan (Meg) Foster joined the SATF team in June 2015 as our Prevention Program Coordinator. She supports prevention efforts in communities, organizations, and institutions throughout Oregon through technical assistance, training, resource development, and management of the Rape Prevention and Education (RPE) grant.
Meg believes that violence and abuse are preventable for all people and all communities throughout the world, and we all have a role to play in preventing violence.
Meg has spent the last 15 years doing violence prevention work, including: her work at SATF, teaching violence prevention and healthy relationships classes in middle and high schools, serving as a youth advocate, implementing a campus-based risk-reduction initiative, and providing support for public health and community development campaigns in rural communities in Rwanda. She holds degrees in Public Policy, Planning and Management as well as Journalism and Communications.
