Trial and Testimony Basics

This training will help educate Oregon Sexual Assault Examiners on the basics of preparing to testify in court. At the end of this training, participants will be able to:

1. Describe the difference between a fact witness and an expert witness.
2. Give three examples of topics SAEs/SANEs are commonly expected to explain in the courtroom.
3. Give two examples of elements of strong testimony.
4. Give two examples of elements of weak testimony.
