Holly Ramella (she/they)

Member at Large

Holly started in the anti-violence movement in 2015 as a student volunteer crisis advocate while pursuing their Bachelor’s degree in Gender and Sexuality Studies. Since then, Holly has worked for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas’ Care Center, the Nevada Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence and most recently OHSU’s Confidential Advocacy Program as the Equity and Prevention Manager.

As a queer victim-survivor of interpersonal violence, a volunteer, a professional and academic in the anti-violence movement, Holly has worn many hats in the movement while striving to center the needs of the most marginalized victim-survivors including focusing on the LGBTQ+ community. Holly approaches prevention and intervention work through a transformative justice lens, focusing on providing care and support for victim-survivors, educating and empowering communities with the tools to engage in harm reduction and prevention, and holding harm-doers accountable by identifying root causes and engaging in community healing processes.
