Erin Greenawald(she/her)

Board Chair

Erin owns her own law practice specializing in representing domestic and sexual violence victims in civil suits against perpetrators and/or organizations, as well as making sure her clients’ statutory and constitutional rights are upheld in criminal cases.

In addition to private practice, Erin has worked as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Oregon and as a prosecutor on the local (Marion and Yamhill counties) and state level for 19+ years in Oregon, the last 8 ½ of which she spent at the Oregon Department of Justice, Criminal Justice Division, as Oregon’s first Domestic Violence Resource Prosecutor.

Erin has served with various groups whose efforts are designed to improve the criminal justice system’s response to domestic and sexual violence, including the Oregon Sexual Assault Task Force, the Governor’s Domestic Violence Council, the Firearm & Domestic Violence Task Force, and the Statewide Domestic Violence Fatality Review Team.

Erin has also served on the Board of Directors for the Oregon Crime Victims Law Center. Erin is trained in and is an instructor for Certified FETI (Forensic Experiential Trauma Interview).
