SANE: Working with Latinx Survivors in Rural Settings
Conducted in partnership with Proyecto UNICA, this webinar will help educate Oregon Sexual Assault Examiners on better understanding rape culture, racism, and barriers to services as they affect rural Latinx patients, as well as tools and resources to support them. At the end of this training, participants will be able to:
1. Verbalize two ways in which Latinx patients may experience complex trauma.
2. Verbalize three barriers that Latinx patients may experience in accessing care, and ways in which to address them.
3. Identify three resources available to Latinx patients.
2 CEUs will be provided upon completion.
