Medical Advocacy Training in La Grande


SATF is pleased to offer a 2-day training on Best Practices for Medical-Advocacy Response during the Sexual Assault Forensic Exam. This training will be beneficial to community, campus, tribal, culturally specific, rural, or systems based staff that is providing medical advocacy response for survivors seeking medical-forensic care.

The training will include best practices for patient care, trauma-informed care, best practice for medical advocacy, and skill building.

The host hotel is the Sunridge Inn/Conference Center at Baker City, 1 Sunridge Lane, Baker City, just off I-84. Due to a conflicting event, a host hotel in La Grande was not available. We thank you for your adaptability.

Sunridge Inn has a connected restaurant, a hot breakfast buffet free to guests, and an outdoor pool.  The hotel is offering us the federal hotel rate of $94/night + tax.
