Once again, the Oregon Sexual Assault Task Force (ORSATF) and the Oregon Coalition Against Sexual Violence (OCADSV) are coming together, with you, to promote Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) throughout Oregon this April.
Scroll down to find publicity materials and other resources from our statewide Sexual Assault Awareness Month campaign, as well as a proclamation from Governor Kitzhaber. We encourage you to utilize these to help tailor events and initiatives to the unique needs of your communities.
Please let us know about your organization’s Sexual Assault Awareness Month events so that we can help you promote and publicize! (Click here to access our webform). Additionally, please join us in promoting public awareness of sexual assault prevention and response through your social media outlets (Twitter, Facebook, etc). Both the Coalition and Task Force will post relevant SAAM-specific content via our social media presences throughout the month. These posts can be easily modified to include links to your own websites and resources and shared/re-tweeted/re-posted for your own audiences.
SAAM 2013 is just the start. The materials for and efforts taking place this month can be used and built upon well beyond April 30th. The true driving force in promoting healthy sexuality and ending sexual violence is in Oregon’s communities!
